Located 20 minutes' drive from Taupo township, Kinloch is a cosy settlement with spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the mountains of Tongariro National Park. Its sandy beach and relaxed vibe make it a lovely summer holiday location.

Nestled within Whangamata Bay, the crystal-clear waters surrounding Kinloch are popular for fly-fishing, while charter boats and the marina make it easy to get out on the water.

Golfers will enjoy The Kinloch Club, an award-winning golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

With just over 300 residents, Kinloch has a range of accommodation on offer, as well as a cafe and local store.
